Our coffee “OPITA” (native person from Huila region in Colombia) is a coffee that we are excited to have due to the work of its coffee grower Wilder Lazo. Wilder is passionate about his cares in production and he is a promoter of good practices in the Huila region. We want to highlight his work in harvest as well as his contribution to the production of specialty coffees in the region.
For this coffee, together with four other coffee growers from neighboring farms, they bring the best quality coffee with a blend of the Bourbon rosé, Caturra, Colombia and Typica varieties. They produce the coffee with a traditional fermentation process for 22 hours before washed and dried. This makes Opita a unique experience highlighting the best flavors of the region.
Our Huila Blend (Opita) features sweet notes such as grated brown sugar and mango. Its aroma of rose water, Creole apple and pitaya make this a very aromatic coffee.
